These images are a mixture of mine and Kristie's but I used the 28-70 2.8 for my shots (the two maternity and dad lifting baby in the air). I also have the 50mm 1.4 which I use exclusively for newborns and sometimes I throw it on for portraits as well. It is a super sharp super yummy lens. To answer your question about the workshop, it is really designed for the beginner because we will be hitting the technical side of things pretty hard but I sure would love to meet you ;) Call me if you have specific questions!
